Tattoo & piercing studio · homepage redesign
See it →An APP-credentialed studio with 1,192 reviews and 30 years behind it, none of which showed above the fold. I rebuilt the homepage to lead with the proof and let you book in seconds.

Drag the handle. Left is the original site, right is my redesign.
Piercing Emporium has the kind of credentials that close the deal on their own: APP membership, 30 years in business, and 1,192 Google reviews at 4.7 stars. The detail on the ear piercing photo in their hero is exactly what convinces someone who is on the fence. The proof was all there. The homepage just was not putting it in front of you.
This is a redesign I did on my own, not a paid brief, because the gap between how strong the credentials are and how little the page used them was too wide to ignore.
The phone number was not visible anywhere in the hero, even though the page literally told visitors to call before coming in. The 1,192 reviews never appeared above the fold. And on a phone, someone who wanted to book had no quick way to reach the studio, so they had to hunt for it. That hunt is where you lose people.
I kept the real piercing photo, the APP credential, and the 30-year history, then rebuilt the page so someone landing on it from their phone can call or book in under five seconds. The phone number and a booking button live in the hero now. The reviews and the credential moved up where they reassure a first-time visitor before they have a chance to doubt. Everything points at one action: get in the chair.
It is built mobile first, because that is where most of this traffic actually starts, and a page that is hard to act on from a phone leaves money on the table.
The studio did not change. The way the page sells it did. That is usually the whole story with a redesign: the business was already good, the website just was not showing it. If yours is in the same spot, here are the signs it is quietly costing you.
Got a studio whose reviews and credentials are buried? Send me the link and I'll tell you what I'd change.
Send me your current site or your idea. I'll tell you straight what I'd change and what it would cost, usually within a day.
